Esports Zone @ Langsam
Gaming computers are now available on the 4th floor of the Walter C. Langsam Library!
The Esports Zone @ Langsam includes five computers with pre-installed, free-to-play video games. Each desktop is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, an Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 Processor 285K and 32GB of DDR5 RAM
The computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Log in with UC credentials to access the full game collection.
4th Floor Computer Lab
The 4th floor of Langsam Library has a computer lab with plenty of desktops and plug-in stations for your laptop—just grab a spot, no reservation needed.
Sound Booth
Langsam’s Sound Booth is a WhisperRoom® sound isolation booth which offers advanced noise reduction for audio recording. Reserve the Sound Booth on 25Live. It is located on the 4th floor of Langsam Library near the Langsam Living Room and behind the Data & Visualization Classroom wall of monitors.
Green Screen Room
Langsam also has a Green Screen Room with lights for producing videos. The Green Screen Room is located on the 4th floor of Langsam in Room 414.
Reservable Technology
The Desk @ Langsam has a selection of reservable, personal technology items, such as calculators and chargers. Stop by the desk to see what's available!
The Accessible Technology Space at Langsam
Location:
Room 408, Langsam Library 4th Floor
Purpose
This space provides access to accessible technologies for all library patrons with disabilities. All University of Cincinnati students, employees, and community members are welcome to use the devices and facilities offered in this space. The Accessible Technology Space is available at any time Langsam Library is open.
Eligibility
University of Cincinnati students, faculty, staff, and non-UC users are eligible to use the services and facilities offered by UC Libraries Accessible Technology Space.
Facilities
The space includes the following equipment and features:
- Adjustable height tables (electric assisted)
- Lighting options
- Frosted film on glass door and wall
Computers and Devices
- 1 Dell all-in-one with a 23.8-inch screen
- 1 iMac with a 24-inch screen
- 1 docking station with a 31.5-inch monitor on an adjustable arm, keyboard, and mouse
