Visit CECH Library

The CECH Library is located in room 300 of Teachers-Dyer Complex (2610 University Circle) on the beautiful University of Cincinnati campus. The library's main entrance is on the 300 level across from the Teachers Cafe at the building's main entrance, next to the main stairwell and elevators.

Below are directions to CECH Library from different parts of the UC Clifton campus. For further navigational assistance, look at campus map or call CECH Library at (513) 556-1430.

If you're coming from the main entrance nearest to University Pavillion, you will enter onto the 3rd floor. The CECH Library will be on your right next to the stairs.

If you're coming from the entrance near the Blegen Library, University Circle, or Van Wormer Hall, you will enter Teachers-Dyer on the lower 400 level. Use the stairs or elevator to the main 400 level. Walk past the Dean's Suite and take the main stairs or elevator to the 300 level. The CECH Library will be immediately to your left.

If you have a Bearcat Card, you can enter the library from the 400 level and use the internal stairs to locate the library's spaces and resources on the 300 level, including our Info Desk.

If you're coming from CCM Garage, use the Teachers-Dyer Complex East Entrance door to enter the building. The East Entrance is located across from CCM Garage's back gate. You will enter the Teachers-Dyer on the 1st floor. Walk straight down the hall, past the computer lab, towards the vending machines. The stairs and elevator will be on your left. Take the stairs or elevator to the 300 level. The CECH Library will be immediately to your left.

We recommend parking in the garage/location you typically use when visiting campus. The nearest university-operated parking garages open to those without permits are CCM Garage and Calhoun Garage. On-campus parking rates and locations are available on the Visitor Parking webpage.

Street parking on Clifton Avenue or Calhoun Avenue are other convenient options in close proximity.

If you will be using the library for less than 30 minutes (i.e. holds pickup), parking is available in University Circle. The 30-minute spaces are available first-come, first-served and fill quickly as there are only three spaces marked for this purpose.

Books may be returned at any UC Libraries location or at one of our conveniently located book returns. The CECH Library services two book returns, the first is located outside the entrance to the CECH Library in the Teachers-Dyer Complex atrium on the 3rd floor. This book return is serviced multiple times per day. The second book return is in the Edwards 1 building lobby, next to the WEPA printer. This book return is serviced twice a week. Books may be returned in either book return at any time, including times when the library may be closed.
