The Winkler Center is...

a medical archive, library, and exhibit facility that encourages visitors and researchers to explore the Cincinnati area's rich medical and health history and to discover the people who have contributed to important advances in medicine, nursing, and pharmaceutical sciences.

Henry R. Winkler, PhD

On January 27, 2009 the UC Board of Trustees named the Center after UC President Emeritus Winkler. A renowned historian and respected administrator, Dr. Winkler has been a visionary advocate for the Center for over 20 years.
