library liaison program
Purpose
Establish regular communication between library staff and UC Blue Ash (UCBA) faculty regarding services and collections.
Library Faculty Responsibilities
- Library faculty are responsible for specific departments.
- Responsibilities to departments include collection development and management, library instruction, research assistance for faculty, and obtaining feedback on library services.
Academic Department Responsibilities
- Designate one faculty member (or more depending upon needs/interests) to communicate with librarian.
- Each department can decide how they would like to work with their librarian.
- Provide input and feedback to library liaison as needed.
Other Issues
For issues or situations that are not specific to an academic department, such as general library services or facilities, the Library Director will contact the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and college committee, as appropriate.

- Improves the UCBA Library’s ability to provide services and collections that meet the curricular needs of the College.
