Creating Buzz James Krusling, First Year Experience librarian, has
helped bring national attention to the University Libraries'
First Year Experience Program (FYE) with his work on the Research
Universities Project database <www.brevard.edu/fyc/ruproject/index.htm>
at the Policy Center on the First Year of College. The database
provides an overview of the FYE Librarian's activities as
they relate to UC's goal of improving retention of first-year
students. The Libraries' FYE Program is included in the database
of first-year experience programs and strategies held nationwide.
The database is featured in an upcoming article in the Sept/Oct
issue of About Campus.
