The E-Media Division Presents: Global Lens Film Series
Brought to UC by the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) and the University of Cincinnati Libraries, the Global Lens Film Series is an annual, curated program of feature films from Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Each film is selected for its authentic voice, strong cinematics and unique cultural perspective. At the conclusion of the series, the films will become part of the collection of UC Libraries where they will be available for check out. All showings are free and open to the public and held in the TUC Main Street Cinema, Mondays at 2pm:
January 14 Riscado (Craft)
A Brazilian film about a talented but unemployed actress. An enveloping drama of everyday tragedy in the working world of an artist. 85 mins, in Portuguese and French with English subtitles. Gustavo Pizzi, director.
January 28 El Dedo (The Finger)
