This year marks the 200th anniversary of the launch of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Between 1804 and 1806, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark with their Corp of Discovery, traveled to the Pacific Ocean and back, following the Missouri River, crossing the Rocky Mountains in Montana and Idaho, and continuing along the Snake and Columbia Rivers to the Pacific. Along the way, they kept journals and mapped the hitherto unexplored American territory. University Libraries is celebrating this great adventure with a Web
site featuring the full text of the 1814 published edition of the journals
kept on the journey. Other resources such as an information pathfinder
and links to other Lewis and Clark sites are also available. Visit the
site at <www.ucdp.uc.edu/lewisandclark>
and relive the journey of Lewis and Clark.
