Special Gifts Received
In addition to accepting outright gifts, pledges, and planned gifts,
University Libraries also accepts donations of gifts-in-kind. We are
grateful to the following donors for these special gifts to University
Libraries since July 1, 2003.
- Professor and Mrs. Robert E. Cazden: his important personal collection
of German- Americana, which also includes materials on German history,
literature, and culture.
- Stanley M. Dahlman, Ph.D. (A&S 1955): his personal library dealing
with Welsh literature, history, and culture.
- Dr. Joan Radner: a collection of Gaelic language and literature
built by Eleanor Knott.
- Mrs. Jean Geis Stell: music scores from the personal library of
Dr. Albino Gorno, dean of the UC College Conservatory of Music for
40 years. The Albino Gorno Memorial Music Library serving the College-Conservatory
of Music was named in his honor.
- Viox Services: a public-service desk for Langsam Library’s
Info Commons, an area that serves as a first-stop service point to
provide personalized assistance to users.
