The percentage of alumni who donate to UC each year (currently only 11%, which is 13th in the Big East Conference) influences the university’s U.S. News & World Report ranking. Through the new 1819 initiative, alumni can help UC rise in the rankings. In fact, it’s a high priority for UC President Greg Williams and a specific “call to action” within the new UC2019 strategic plan for the university. 1819 (honoring UC’s founding year) seeks a gift of just $18.19.
