This summer, University Libraries concluded its fifth year of participation in new student orientation. New students visiting Langsam Library during orientation learned about the Libraries’ redesigned homepage, how to create multimedia presentations in the Student Technology Resources Center (STRC), how to get research help by using “Chat with a Librarian”, how to use Self-Checkout to checkout books, and how to print at computers in the
libraries.
Student feedback from orientation was uniformly positive. One student said, “The tour was very
informative.”
