E-News @ Your Library

This summer, the redesigned UC Library Catalog debuted to the public. The redesigned Library Catalog includes many new features meant to improve functionality, searchability, and ease of use. Some of the features of the Library Catalog include:

• Tabs and radio buttons that allow users to select the search type (title vs.
  author, etc.)
• Search screens that contain hints and examples, explanations, and links
  to catalog search tips
• The ability to search for both print and e-journals from the same page
  and a direct link to the articles and databases Web pages
• Screens that allow users to change the sorting order of results
• A “Tips for Using the Catalog” section that covers all major functions of
  the catalog
• Links connecting users to OhioLINK, BlackBoard, Off-Campus Access,
  library sites, and other useful information.
