Library IT Team
This group handles the behind-the-scenes efforts for maintaining crucial library technology systems such as database software, the Windows XP network, numerous servers, and the library’s public computers – all with “amazing cheerfulness,” said one nominator. “They respond as quickly as possible to help with individual or library-wide technical problems and questions.” Whether it is upgrading the functionality of the public computers, maintaining the Library Catalog server, or designing a new Web form, the work of the Library IT Team touches every library worker and user. The members of the team are Erma Fritsche, Jim Campbell, Paul Dozier, Lisa Haitz, Karl Hiller, Cherie Matchan, Thomas Scherz, and co-op students Joe Fry and Mark Connaughton. UCLID Redesign Implementation Team
Building upon the design plan of the UCLID Redesign Task Force, the Implementation Team was charged with the monumental task of taking the plan from concept to reality. They did so with aplomb over a six-month period and with weekly two-hour meetings and plenty of homework for team members. The members of the UCLID Redesign Implementation team are co-chairs Olga Hart and Lisa Haitz plus Nanda Araujo, Diego Moena, and James Campbell from University Libraries. They were joined by Shelly Paden (AIT&L), Rosemary Young (Clermont College Library), and Rob Zai (formerly of Raymond Walters College Library).
