| Library student workers are essential to the daily operation of the 11 libraries that comprise University Libraries. From shelving books to mailing Interlibrary Loan requests to answering reference questions, students play a key role in providing quality service to library users. Each year, University Libraries recognizes the “Students of the Year” who consistently excel in meeting quality service expectations, accomplishing both job and organizational objectives in their work in the libraries. The following students were chosen 2008 “Students of the Year.” Included are some words from their respective nominators on why each is so deserving of this recognition.
