| UC Faculty & Researchers: The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2007 (H.R. 2764) directs the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to provide public access to its funded research. In accordance with this act, the NIH now requires researchers funded by NIH to submit their manuscripts to PubMed Central® as of April 7, 2008. The Health Sciences Library has created a Web page with NIH Manuscript Submission System Information to assist researchers with this new mandate. The Web site, available at <http://aitl.uc.edu/nihmanuscript.cfm>, includes links to NIH Manuscript Submission guidelines and procedures, authors’ rights documents, and tutorials.
