On April 1, 2008, the Libaries celebrated the International Edible Books Festival. At the event, 25 participants presented edible creations that represented a book in some form. Submitted entries included such edible titles as Stone Soup, The Cereal Murders, Sizzle and Burn, and A Raisin in the Sun among other literary greats. As in year’s past, the entries were judged in such categories as “Most Literary,” “Most Inspired,” “Long Overdue,” and “Most Checked-out.” Read more about this annual event online.
