| At the start of classes each year, the University of Cincinnati holds Welcome Week to introduce new students to the University’s programs, colleges, and departments. University Libraries participated in the week’s festivities by giving out free ice cream and holding drawings for $50 gift certificates to the University Bookstore. Students were encouraged to visit any library to enter their name in the drawings.
