The development of the CCM Library’s CD collection began in May 1987 with a generous $3,000 grant from the Library Guild. The DVD collection was initiated in Febrary 2000 and is supported in part by annual grants from Sigma Alpha Iota international music fraternity. The CCM Library gratefully acknowledges their support. The CD and DVD collections are available in the CCM Library. Titles may be accessed via the Library Catalog <http://uclid.uc.edu/search>. |

On April 11, 2005, the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) Library reached two important collection milestones. On this date the library added CD recording number 20,000 (a disc of early cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach featuring soprano Emma Kirkby) and DVD recording number 500 (a performance of Czech composer Leos Janacek’s opera “The Makropulos Case”).
