You Can Make a Difference

In addition to strong collections, the Libraries also provide:

• Workshops for students, staff, and faculty to promote the effective use of library resources, as well as the use of new technologies available for research, teaching, and presentations.
• Inviting research and study facilities with more than 300 computers that can be used to access the Library Catalog and the Internet.
• Personal consultation and assistance with research needs for class projects, term papers, theses, and dissertations.
• A Student Technology Resources Center (STRC) and six Info Commons that provide access and individual assistance with technology.
• Laptop computers, digital cameras, and camcorders that can be borrowed for class projects and presentations.

Partial funding to provide these collections, resources, and services comes from an ever-growing number of individual donors who support University Libraries through their annual and planned gifts. The continuous commitment of donors to provide a first-rate library will be an important factor in helping the University of Cincinnati define the new urban research university of the 21st century.
