• Academic Search Premier – Easy to use and self-explanatory, this online database provides a diverse selection of materials ranging from obituaries of philosophers and articles on a philosopher’s life and influence on the discipline to the ethical and social implications of Hurricane Katrina. • Lexis/Nexis – Legal information on the philosophy of law as well as legal cases, particularly the decision and dissension. • Opposing Viewpoints – Different positions to understand the argument of a position, particularly a viewpoint with which one disagrees. • Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations – For inspiration and creative papers, a relevant quote works well with opening and/or closing a paper. |

If a friend wants to connect with Tyrone Collier, Langsam Library is a sure place to find him. As a fourth-year philosophy major, Collier writes several lengthy papers each quarter. Many of these papers are based on classical texts from the course, but some also require research on sociopolitical and ethical issues.
