Multimedia Services
Langsam Library's Circulation and Multimedia Services Department loans equipment solely for use by UC students and faculty in direct support of instruction and completion of course assignments. This equipment is funded by Information Technology and Instructional Equipment (ITIE) fees which students pay. These funds are restricted to use that promotes "direct and primary benefit to student learning." The equipment is not intended for personal use or extra-curricular activities. UC staff members who are currently enrolled in UC courses that require equipment in the completion of coursework may also borrow this equipment.

Borrowing Equipment
Equipment can be reserved in person at the Circulation and Multimedia Services Desk, or over the phone at (513) 556-1424. Patrons must pick up or return equipment at least one hour before the library closes. Library hours can be found here.
Patrons listed below may borrow equipment for up to five days and renew for an additional five days, provided there are no additional reservations on the items. Many items are in high demand – patrons should limit the length of their loan periods whenever possible out of courtesy to other users.

** UC staff members taking a class at UC and needing to borrow multimedia equipment must submit a printout of their One Stop registration to the Circulation and Multimedia Services Department. This printout will be kept on file for one quarter, with a note added to the patron record to ensure privileges.
The Circulation and Multimedia Services Department does not allow any patron to borrow on another patron’s account, with the exception of faculty designates as specified in “Who Can Borrow Materials” section. The patron on whose account equipment is reserved and/or is being charged must be present at check out to both check out the equipment and sign the borrower's agreement. The patron who signed the borrower's agreement is responsible for returning this equipment in person.
