Educational rankings annual

Author:

Call Number:

REF LB2331.63 .E383

City:

Detroit, MI

Publisher:

Gale Research

Date:

2004

Description:

The Educational Rankings Annual (ERA), an annual publication, is a very interesting compilation of myriad rankings in the area of education.   Ranking information about educational institutions, faculty, library facilities and hundreds of other educational phenomena in the ERA are usually abridged.   However, all the rankings' entries in ERA identify the source of information from which more data may usually be obtained.   The ERA, therefore, serves as an index to sources of more complete ranking information.   For example, one entry (#1942) shows the University of Cincinnati as the leading institution for publishing the most articles in top rated criminology/criminal justice journals for the period of 1995 to 1999, and of course the journal source is identified for the reader's inspection.
