- TOPO! software - available in the GMP Library Information Commons (computer closest to service desk). Software allows library users to explore USGS topographic maps digitally through high resolution scans seamlessly joined together. The software also boasts the following customization functionality: draw your own trails, calculate distances, visualize terrain, customize your maps with photos, symbols, and text, fly your trail in 3D to see the lay of the land.
- Lexis Nexis Statistical DataSets - more than 14 billion data points from licensed and public domain datasets within an easy-to-use interface for creating graphs, maps, and spreadsheets.
- SimplyMaps - web-based mapping application that lets users quickly create professional-quality thematic maps and reports using demographic, business, and marketing data for the United States. Includes census data, PRISM data, Simmons data, and many more datasets.
- eAtlas of Global Development (World Bank) - maps and graphs more than 175 thematically organized indicators for over 200 countries, letting you visualize and compare progress on the most important development challenges facing our world.
- Social Explorer - provides easy access to demographic information about the United States from 1790 to the present.

- Natural Earth free raster and vector map data
