MODERN LANGUAGE DICTIONARIES
CLASSICS REFERENCE COLLECTION
In addition to several English language dictionaries, the Classics Library has modern foreign language dictionaries in the Classics Reference Collection in order to support research. In addition to German, French, Spanish and Italian, reference dictionaries are available for the following languages: Albanian, Arabic, Aramaic, Bulgarian, Coptic, Czech, Dutch, Hebrew, Hungarian, Maltese, Modern Greek, Polish, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, and Turkish. The Reference collection dictionaries must be used in the Reading Room. Some circulating copies are available in the Classics stacks.
E-REFERENCE TITLES
Foreign language dictionaries are accessible through Oxford Reference Online Premium & Credo Reference. Additionally, many electronic foreign language dictionaries are available in the Library Catalog. Using French as an example, use the Subject tab to search for the foreign language you need, e.g. FRENCH LANGUAGE—DICTIONARIES—ENGLISH and then LIMIT by Online Books, Databases, and Journals.
