The Biography Resource Center is a comprehensive database of biographical information on more than one million people from throughout history, around the world, and across all disciplines and subject areas. It combines approximately 250,000 biographies from respected Gale Group sources with nearly one million biographies from The Complete Marquis Who's Who The database also includes full-text articles from nearly 250 periodicals. Search for people based on one or more personal facts such as birth and death years and places, nationality, ethnicity, occupation or gender, or combine criteria to create a highly-targeted custom search path.
Biography Reference Bank
Wilson Biographies Plus Illustrated contains more than 95,000 biographies and obituaries and more than 26,000 photographs of the subjects. Also includes: Biography Index Plus which is a bibliographic database that cites biographical material appearing in periodicals indexed in other Wilson Company databases.
Cincinnati Executive Officers Biography
This is a biographical resource center for Cincinnati business leaders past and present. The biographies are from books, journal articles, web sites, company literature, and newspapers. Some of the online sources listed may be available only to UC students, faculty and staff.
Dun's Million Dollar Database
Information on 500,000 public and private U.S. companies. Searches can be done by SMSA, state, county, zip code, area code, sales, employee size, and import/export indicators, and SIC codes. The database also covers Dun's Reference Book of Corporate Management with biographical information on approx. 660,000 executives.
