The Bank Directory. (Langsam Library Latest Reference (Print) -- link to Library Catalog)
The Bank Directory is the most comprehensive international directory of financial institutions available. Updated every June and December in five-volumes. Covers International banking and correspondent services, Management and business evaluation, and Funds processing and operations.

FDIC Institution Directory
The FDIC Institution Directory (ID) provides the latest comprehensive financial and demographic data for every FDIC-insured institution, including the most recent quarterly financial statements, with performance and condition ratios.

ENCYCLOPEDIAS AND DICTIONARIES

A Dictionary of Finance and Banking.
With over 5,000 entries, this dictionary contains entries on every aspect of the financial world: insurance, stocks and shares, commodities, takeovers and mergers, international trade, and government finance. Fully revised for its third edition, the dictionary has expanded its international coverage and reflects new developments in areas such as building societies, the European monetary union, and stock exchange practices. Personal finance matters are also covered in depth, including investments, pensions, and taxation.

FDIC Bank Data and Statistics
A list of FDIC data databases dealing with various areas of banking.

Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) database (On WRDS)
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) database contains financial data and history of all entities filing the Report Of Condition and Income (Call Report) and some savings institutions filing the OTS Thrift Financial Report (TFR). These entities include Commercial banks, savings banks, or savings and loans. FDIC files include structure data, financial time series data, complex derived integers data, ratio data, and merger history data.

Historical Statistics on Banking 
The Historical Statistics on Banking (HSOB) provides annual statistical information on the banking industry beginning in 1934. The HSOB contains aggregated data from individual financial reports filed by FDIC-insured commercial banks and savings institutions.
