Finding Books and Other Materials
Use the Library Catalog (link to here: http://uclid.uc.edu/search/X) to locate books, periodicals, videos, and other materials owned by UC, and the OhioLINK catalog for items owned by other Ohio college and university libraries. There are several ways to search the catalog. Begin by using our Tips for Using the Catalog (link to here: http://uclid.uc.edu/screens/tips/index.html) page. |

Keyword searching allows you to search specific words in the title, author, some table of contents (chapter titles), and publisher as well as subject headings. |
The request button (located at the top of the page) allows you to request books from other UC libraries and select where you would like the item delivered. For books not owned in the UC libraries or those currently checked out, you may use the request feature in OhioLINK. |
Local, national and international library catalogs may also be valuable sources of additional information. |
Browsing the Stacks |
There are areas of the Library that have resources specific to the area of design. Browse the DAAP Library stacks in the following call number areas. For detailed breakdown of subjects covered in each area, consult the Library of Congress Classification List |
