Architectural Index
This index provides citations to a small list of major architectural magazines and is particularly useful for locating information on recent building projects, and for locating information by geographic site or architect/designer. Coverage varies, but most periodicals are indexed from the early 1980's.
 

Art Index

Art Index provides comprehensive abstracting and indexing for 313 leading international art publications, including periodicals, yearbooks, and museum bulletins. This database offers broad coverage of art topics, including advertising, archaeology, crafts, folk art, graphic arts, interior design, video, film, architecture, and art history.

 
Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals
The most comprehensive index to architecture maintained by the staff of the Avery Architectural Library at Columbia University. Late 1800's to the present.   Also includes the Burnham Index to Architectural Periodicals

The database provides comprehensive information about over 3,500 innovative materials and processes,

Nineteenth Century Masterfile
 
ProQuest dissertations & theses
Includes citations for dissertations ranging from 1861 to those accepted last semester; those
published from 1980 forward include 350-word abstracts. Citations for master's theses from
1988 forward include 150-word abstracts. Titles represent authors from North America and
Europe, with over a million titles in full text.
 
ProQuest Dissertations & Theses (UC Electronic)
Access to over 8,000 University of Cincinnati electronic dissertations and theses mainly from
1955 to the present. To acquire the dissertations electronically, users request the full text from
UMI (ProQuest) and are sent a link and a password to access the dissertation. Dissertations
from 1997 forward are available in the OhioLINK ETD (Electronic Theses and Dissertations)Center.
 
RefWorks
With RefWorks users can create their own personal database by importing references from online
databases. They can use these references in writing their papers and automatically format the
paper and the bibliography in seconds. As a web-based product, RefWorks is available to users
across various platforms including Windows, Mac, Unix, etc. UC users can set up their free
individual accounts.
 
Royal Institute of British Architects OnLine Catalog
The Catalog of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Library provides  coverage of
major foreign and technical architectural periodicals .  In addition the catalog provides access to
books, archival materials, and other publications of the RIBA Library.
