+Overnight Reserves may be used for 2 hours In the library. They may be checked out 2 hours before closing and must returned within 1 hour after opening the following day.

+++3-Day Reserves must be returned 3 days after check out.
LOAN TERMS: A U.C. photo ID is required to check out materials. OhioLINK borrowers need an ID from their home institution and a photo ID. GCLC borrowers and cardholders require a photo ID in addition to their card issued by U.C.
*RECALLS: A book may be recalled immediately for reserves or after 3 weeks for another patron, even if it has been checked out for a quarter. A fine of $1.00 per day is charged for late return of recalled books after the revised due date.
RENEWALS: Books may be renewed in person or by telephone as long as other patrons have not requested them, up to a total of three times. Patrons may also renew their own books by accessing their own record from the UCLID main menu.
RESERVE FINES: Overdue fines are $1.00 per hour or part of an hour for 2-hour and overnight reserves, and $8.00 per day for 1- and 3-day reserves.
OVERDUES: One overdue notice for overdue books is sent. If the material is not returned, a final notice (bill) is sent requesting payment for replacing the material ($80.00 minimum) and for processing the replacement material ($20.00). For students, grades are also withheld. If the material is returned, the $80.00 replacement fee and $20.00 processing fee are waived.
PHOTOCOPIES: Available for cash at 10 cents per copy (machines take nickels, dimes, quarters and dollar bills) or using BearCat at 8 cents per copy in the library. Microfiche copies are free.
CHANGE: The Engineering Library does not supply change. The copiers give change for single bills.
SMOKING: Prohibited by city ordinance.
FOOD & DRINK: Prohibited to prevent insect infestation and damage to books.
