The list below consists of four selected databases that contain materials relevant to education administration.

ERIC (1966- ) (Educational Resources Information Center)
The Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC), the world’s largest source of information for education research and practice, produces this index to over 750 scholarly journals. Many records link to full-text. ERIC also indexes thousands of “education documents”, which consist of unpublished materials of all types including conference papers, speeches, government reports, books and other resources. Most education documents, also known as “ED documents”, written between 1993 and the present are available full text via the “Find a copy” feature within the ERIC database. Most pre-1993 education documents (ED’s), are available through the Langsam microfiche collection located in the Serials Department. The U.S. Department of Education produces this database.

Education Full Text (1983- ) (includes full-text)
This database indexes over 500 educational journals and publications, including periodicals, monographs, and yearbooks. Many records link to full text. Education Index (1929- ) is the print counterpart to this database and is available in the Langsam Library reference area (Langsam Reference Z5811. E25), and the Curriculum Resource Center (CRC Reference Z5811. E25). Find the location of a specific year.
