LOAN TERMS: A UC photo ID is required to check out materials. OhioLINK borrowers need an ID from their home institution and a photo ID. SWON community borrowers require a photo ID in addition to their card issued by UC Libraries.
*RECALLS: A book may be recalled immediately for reserves. If a book is recalled for another patron, that patron is still allowed to keep the book for 3 weeks maximum, even if it was originally checked out for the semester. A fine of $1 per day is charged for late return of recalled books after the revised due date.
RENEWALS: Books may be renewed in person or by telephone as long as other patrons have not requested them, up to a total of three times. Patrons may also renew their own books by accessing their own record from the UC Library Catalog's main menu: Login to Your Library Record
RESERVE FINES: Overdue fines are $1 per hour or portion of an hour for 2-hour and overnight reserves, and $8 per day for 1- and 3-day reserves.
OVERDUES: One overdue notice for overdue books is sent. If the material is not returned, a final notice (bill) is sent requesting payment for replacing the material ($80.00 minimum) and for processing the replacement material ($20.00). For students, grades are also withheld. If the material is returned, the $80.00 replacement fee and $20.00 processing fee are waived.
