The University of Cincinnati CEAS (Engineering and Applied Science) Library serves the faculty and students of the College of Engineering and Applied Science. The CEAS Library's collection and services are essential to fulfilling the educational and research missions of the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Its collections and electronic services support programs offered by the College, with special emphasis on the research interests of faculty and graduate students. The CEAS Library also serves other University of Cincinnati users, as well as the scientific and technical community of the Greater Cincinnati area.

General information and policies for the use of the CEAS Library apply to faculty, students, and staff of the University of Cincinnati. U.C. users should be prepared to present their current U.C. photo ID card or other photo ID card, when borrowing materials.

Authorized users of SWON Libraries (Southwest Ohio and Neighboring Libraries, formerly GCLC or Greater Cincinnati Library Consortium) and OhioLINK institutions have borrowing privileges. Members of the U.C. Alumni Association or Library Guild may obtain a University of Cincinnati Libraries borrower card free of charge. All other persons may obtain a borrower card by payment of a fee. Borrower cards are sold at the Circulation Desk in Langsam Library. SWON borrowers and cardholders should be prepared with verification of status (i.e., SWON library card, student I.D. from SWON institution, letter from SWON library, or U.C. borrower card) when borrowing materials.
