 Engineering Library and Information Commons

    Baldwin 8th floor corridor looking south, through library space.

   Looking south at new circulation desk.

    The new Information Commons, where Reference was.

    The top of Baldwin's center staircase (dry wall blocked this view before).

    Looking down the center staircase.  No stairs!  Reference will be here.

    Entrance to original library, the reading room, across from central staircase.

    The original library.  Murals being restored.  Will be QUIET reading room.

    The mezzanine!  Shelving gone, not even a thesis left.

    The old book stacks.  It will remain stacks, plus two group study rooms.

    Old journal stacks, and site of new electronic classroom.

    New stack area at south end.  The south stairs are gone!

    Look up!  All plaster chipped away.  Duct work goes up there.

    Look down!  An open chase in the thick wall, going all the way down....

    Section of original 1911 exterior wall - note construction and thickness.

    Dorothy's old office window.  Will be part of new computer lab.
