The archival and other materials of the Dale Warland Singers were given to the University of Cincinnati Libraries and the College-Conservatory of Music in 2004. Over 900 black and white ink drawings of composers and other musicians, created by Miami University professor Dr. Thomas Cobbe and donated to the Gorno Memorial Music Library in 1993. The portraits are without copyright restrictions; digital images created from the portraits may be downloaded freely from the Cobbe Portrait Database.
The composer's manuscripts are housed in the Archives and Rare books Dept. The collection is not yet cataloged; a descriptive catalog is available for browsing.
Parvin Titus (1896-1973) was a noted organist and choir director in Cincinnati from 1924 until his retirement from Christ Church in 1962. Titus came to Cincinnati to become the director of the organ department at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. His papers include news clippings on organs and organ music, articles (some by Titus), his publicity materials, correspondence, materials from his 25th Anniversary Celebration at Christ Church, as well as his research files on the construction/purchase of several organs for institutions around the city, including Music Hall and CCM.
