Online Audio and Score Resources for Music

Naxos Music Library

17,000 CDs representing over 115,000 works and 250,000 tracks of music. Currently comprises the entire catalog of top-selling classical label Naxos and licensed content from First Edition, BIS, Hänssler, Bridge, Hungaroton, CPO, Chandos, and 30 other labels. Highlights include their series American Classics and the Milken Archive of Jewish Music as well as 3 cycles of the Bach cantatas (John Eliot Gardiner, Helmuth Rilling, and Masaaki Suzuki)

Classical Music Library

50,000 tracks of music, primarily standard repertoire. Licensed from around 32 labels, including, Arabesque, ASV, EMI, Hyperion, Hänssler, and Smithsonian Folkways. Additional labels forthcoming. Highlights include the Complete Liszt piano music and Complete Schubert songs on Hyperion, Complete Chopin piano music on Arabesque (Ohlsson); Complete Bach cantatas (Rilling) and Beethoven symphonies (Norrington) on Hännsler, and Alfred Brendel's 1st Beethoven sonata cycle (Vox)

Naxos Music Library Jazz

20,000 tracks of jazz from over 1,850 albums. Over 500 jazz artists are represented. Comprises Naxos Jazz and the 22 labels of Fantasy Jazz. Fantasy has the world's deepest jazz catalog and offers the very best in blues and R&B.

DRAM (formerly the Database of Recorded American Music)

DRAM is a not-for-profit resource providing CD quality audio, complete and original liner notes and essays from New World Records, Composers Recordings, Inc. (CRI), Albany, innova, Cedille, XI, Pogus, Deep Listening and Mutable Music labels. Currently, there are over 1,200 CDs (7,500 compositions).

Byron Hoyt Digital Sheet Music Collection (via ebrary)

5,000 standard repertoire scores and educational titles as printed music in PDF format, suitable for printing. Essentially duplicates via web access the content of the CD Sheetmusic Collection (Browse the contents of the CD Sheet Music Collection to get a better idea what's available on Bryon Hoyt. The CD Sheetmusic titles are also available on individual CD-ROMs and on the CD-ROM workstation in the Music Listening Center). Highlights include nearly the complete works of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin and Brahms and the complete vocal scores of Verdi, Puccini, and Wagner.

Naxos Music Library Sheet Music

Naxos Music Libray Sheet Music (powered by FreeHandMusic.com) currently offers 45,000 editions of classical music and jazz: including the whole range of classical composers from Bach, Mozart and Beethoven to Strauss, Albéniz and Debussy; classical and jazz artists, including Chick Corea, James Galway, and Steven Isserlis; and 1000s of original sheet music editions from Universal Edition, Hans Sikorski, Chanterelle, Pizzicato, Zen-On, Oxford University Press and many others.
