Naxos Music Library Sheet Music FAQ

What kind of music can I find at FreeHandMusic.com?

The FreeHandMusic.com catalogue contains thousands of original scores from the world’s leading publishers, artists and composers, including Oxford University Press, Josef Weinberger, Universal Edition, Chick Corea, Sir James Galway, Joe Lovano, Edizioni Pizzicato, Sikorski Musikverlage, and – as they say – many, many more.

Can I see the music before I print it?

Yes, you can actually browse through the pages of every work on screen and on the Solero Viewer.

Can I save the files to my computer to be printed later?

Yes, the music you ordered will be available for downloading until your next order on the same account. Once downloaded on the Solero Viewer, you can print this file any time within seven days after the download. It can be printed from one machine only, but not necessarily the machine used to download it.

Can I transpose or edit the music I’ve downloaded?

Solero Editions are fully transposable, while Legacy Editions can only be printed and viewed in the original key. Legacy Editions are original editions from established publishers, most of which have been scanned from printed editions. The distribution agreements between FreeHandMusic.com and the publishers do not foresee the transposition or editing of the music.

Can I ask for music that isn’t in the catalogue?

Yes, please do. We’re always happy to receive feedback from our users, and are constantly discussing the expansion with our existing publishers and new publishers. So tell us exactly what you’d like to find and we’ll do our best to find it.
