Thinking about the subject area:
When researching a topic, it is important to think about related word and phrases that can help you locate related resources. The concept genocide has several related terms and phrases, which may be useful to use when searching on this topic in article databases. Synonyms include: crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, holocaust, mass destruction, mass extermination, mass murder, pogrom, race extermination, race murder, war crimes, wholesale murder.
Use UCLID (UC’s Library Catalog) to locate books, periodicals, videos, and other materials owned by UC, and the OhioLINK catalog for items owned by other Ohio college and university libraries.
To search across words in the title, series title, organization, association, content notes, publisher, and subject, start with the KEYWORD search option. Use the LIMIT/SORT button to limit your results to a particular library, online resources, or other options. Use the REQUEST button to order items from another UC library (allow 3 days).
