This site provides access to resources that support the Information Technology students of the College of Applied Science.
Note: If you are accessing library resources from off-campus, you need to log in for Off Campus Access. Most of the resources on the library's Web site are restricted to authorized UC users only.
Use UCLID (UC’s Library Catalog) to locate books, periodicals, videos, and other materials owned by UC, and the OhioLINK database for items owned by other Ohio college and university libraries.
From the catalog menu, select KEYWORD and initiate your search using your topic terms (phrase, software name, company, personal name). KEYWORD searches for words across the title, series title, organization, association, content notes, publisher, and subject.
For a more focused search, select SUBJECT and initiate your search using a Library of Congress subject term (subject, place name or personal name). Relevant examples of subject headings are:
Use the LIMIT/SORT button to limit your results to items located at CAS Library, Electronic Resources, and other options. Use the REQUEST button to have Available materials delivered from other UC libraries.
If you don’t find the items you want in UCLID, search OhioLINK, a library network of Ohio college and university catalogs. Use the OhioLINK CENTRAL button to enter the database, search and request materials.

InfoSci-Online Published by Idea Group Inc. This is a comprehensive collection of full-text literature in the fields of information science, technology and management. Information covers research, trends, technologies, challenges and other topics.
InfoTech Trends Covers market data on the information technology industry including computers, peripherals, software, storage, the Internet, and communications equipment. Details include sales and shipment forecasts, market share, installed base, and planned purchases. Data entries can be downloaded as Excel spreadsheets.
