Introduction to Records Management

Join Janice Schulz, University Records Manager, to learn about records management at the University and to find out about how you can get control of your records and about your responsibilities as a University employee.

This workshop is for new records officers who have not been introduced to records management at UC and existing records officers who need a refresher as well as anyone responsible for managing University records. Please feel free to forward this announcement to anyone you feel may benefit from this workshop.
Next class dates and times:
The next Introduction to Records Management workshops will be held on May 21and May 28, 2008 from 9-11 in the Archives and Rare Books Library Reading Room, 8th floor Blegen Library. Both sessions will cover the same material, and participants need only to attend one of the sessions. The course will outline the goals, policies and procedures of the University Records Management Program and introduce you to basic records management terms and issues. The workshop is free, but reservations are required. Please email Janice.Schulz@uc.edu to reserve a spot and include your name, department, and the date that you wish to attend.
