IntroductionSince 1894 the students of the University of Cincinnati have been publishing the Cincinnatian, the official yearbook of the UC student body. Through photographs, narratives and artwork, the pages of the Cincinnatian offer a unique student-focused history of the University. Reflected in these books, along with the senior portraits and group photos, one finds their vision, the issues they faced and the things that they deemed important to their lives as students and members of society. With the exception of 1906, yearbooks were published each year from 1894 until 1972, then the Cincinnatian re-emerged from 1982 to 1989. This year, 2006, marks the first yearbook published in 15 years. |
