The University of North Texas is digitizing the The War of the Rebellion: A Compilation of the Official Records of the Union And Confederate Armies series and a good number of the volumes are already available through their Portal to Texas History.  They also have some other Civil War-related collections available on the site. Search for "The War of the Rebellion" to find the available volumes.
