Suzanne Maggard joined the Archives and Rare Books Library in August of 2008. Suzanne is the contact person for both the Urban Studies Collection and the German-Americana Collection. She holds a BA in History from Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, a MA in United States History from the University of Cincinnati, and a MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky. Prior to joining UC, Suzanne worked at The Filson Historical Society in Louisville, Kentucky as a Special Collections Assistant, where she implemented a project to make The Filson’s traditional card catalog and print finding aids available online. Suzanne’s professional interests include the use of technology in archives and twentieth-century American history. She is a member of the Society of American Archivists, the Midwest Archives Conference, the Society of Ohio Archivists, and the Academic Library Association of Ohio. In November of 2011, she was appointed to the OhioLINK EAD Task Force.
