UCBA Library: Reduced Hours July 1-July 5

Please Note: Reduced Hours have been amended as of June 27th. The UCBA College Library will now be closed Wednesday, July 3rd through Friday, July 5th. The new UCBA Library will be open on Monday, July 8th. Please see below for more details on hours and locations.

Monday, July 1: 12p-5p [temporary location]
Tuesday, July 2: 12p-5p [temporary location]
Wednesday, July 3: Closed for move
Thursday, July 4: Closed for Holiday
Friday, July 5: Closed for move

Monday, July 8: Re-Open with Regular Summer Hours [new library location]
Please do not hesitate to call, email or stop in during open hours if you have any questions or need assistance. The information below also includes our new location as of Monday, July 8th. Until then, you can still find us in 112K within the Computer Concourse.

UCBA College Library Renovation Update and Layout

The UCBA Library renovation is entering the final month of construction. Our friends at Library Design Associates have begun to carefully move the library collection into the new space, and by the end of this month, the new furniture will arrive and be installed.

As the project remains on schedule, we will have reduced hours the week of July 1st so we can move into our new space. Please look for another LiBLOG post in the coming weeks with more details on our move dates and our re-opening date. In the meantime, here’s an overview layout to help orient you to the new space.

We look forward to introducing everyone to the exciting new UC Blue Ash College Library!

Service Notice: Library Catalog Unavailable Beginning 1pm April 29.

On Monday, April 29, at 1:00pm the Library Catalog will go offline for a planned software migration. It is estimated that the catalog will be back online and ready for use at 10:00pm on April 29.

In the meantime, the OhioLINK catalog is available.

New UCBA Library Guides/Tutorials Web page

The new UCBA Library Guides & Tutorials web page is now available at http://guides.libraries.uc.edu/guideshome. This web page provides a basic starting point for research on any topic.

UCBA Subject Guides: Use this web page to find guides based on these characteristics:

Special Topics: guides that cover a specific topic or issue
How To Do Research: guides cover a variety of research tips and strategies
Faculty Guides: guides for UCBA faculty members
Tutorials: Online web videos give step-by-step directions on how to use a variety of research tools.

You can also use the search box to search for any UCBA Library guides.

This is the final step in the CampusGuide transition of subject and class guides that began during the 2011-2012 academic year.

The Guides/Tutorials link on the UCBA Library homepage has been updated to point to this new page. Please be sure update your bookmarks if you frequent this web page.
