February 9, 2005 - On Wednesday, April 20, 2005, University Libraries will hold the 14th annual “Authors, Editors & Composers” event celebrating the creative and scholarly works of the University of Cincinnati’s faculty. Scheduled for 4pm in the Russell C. Myers Alumni Center at UC, “Authors, Editors & Composers” will include a reception, presentation of selected works, a bibliography, and an exhibit of the published works.
Submitted works can vary in scope, subject, and medium, and be co-authored by colleagues both within and outside UC. While the majority of the works submitted thus far are books and journal articles, there are also CD-ROMs, musical compositions, paintings, creative writing, and book chapters.
To submit a 2004 published work for inclusion in “Authors, Editors & Composers,” e-mail melissa.norris@uc.edu to request an e-form. UC faculty may submit multiple published works, but are limited to three per category (e.g. books, articles, musical scores, photographs, etc.). The deadline for submitting works is Friday, February 25, 2005.
“Authors, Editors & Composers” is sponsored by the Friends of University Libraries. This group encompasses library donors whose support help University Libraries provide excellent research collections and quality service to the University of Cincinnati. In addition to “Authors, Editors & Composers,” the Friends also support exhibits and a public lecture series that draws attention to UC collections and faculty.###
