Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities
http://www.cabells.com/memberarea.aspx
Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities provides information on journals in business, education and psychology. It helps you select those journals that are most likely to publish your manuscript. To further assist in organizing and preparing the manuscripts, each Directory includes information on the style and format of most journals. If a journal has its own set of manuscript guidelines, a copy of these guidelines is published in the Directory. Also, each entry indicates the use of a standard set of publication guidelines by a journal. Furthermore, each Directory describes the type of review process used by the editor(s) of a journal, number of reviewers, acceptance rate, time required for review, availability of reviewers' comments, fees charged to review or publish the manuscript, copies required and manuscript topics.

Mental Measurements Yearbook and Tests in Print merge
Earlier this fall, the EBSCO databases of Mental Measurements Yearbook and Tests in Print were combined into a single database.
Mental Measurements Yearbook and Tests in Print
http://search.epnet.com/login.asp?profile=web&defaultdb=mmt
Mental Measurements Yearbook, produced by the Buros Institute at the University of Nebraska, provides users with a comprehensive guide to over 2,000 contemporary testing instruments. Designed for an audience ranging from novice test consumers to experienced professionals, the MMY series contains information essential for a complete evaluation of test products within such diverse areas as psychology, education, business, and leadership. First published by Oscar K. Buros, the MMY series allows users to make knowledgeable judgments and informed selection decisions about the increasingly complex world of testing. MMY provides coverage from Volume 9 to the present. Also produced by the Buros Institute of Mental Measurements at the University of Nebraska, Tests in Print (TIP) serves as a comprehensive bibliography to all known commercially available tests that are currently in print in the English language. TIP provides vital information to users including test purpose, test publisher, in-print status, price, test acronym, intended test population, administration times, publication date(s), and test author(s).

RefWorks adds RefShare, a new “sharing” module
RefWorks is a Web based personal bibliographic management service that enables users to electronically collect, manage, and organize bibliographic information and full-text articles. RefWorks also facilitates the research report and manuscript composition process by automatically creating in-text citations, footnotes and bibliographies in nearly 2000 different output styles. In short, RefWorks can save countless hours of time spent on resources management and manuscript or report production.
Provided by the University of Cincinnati Libraries, RefWorks has been available for all UC students, faculty and staff since 2004. RefWorks has become a very popular research tool for UC scholars of all levels and disciplines. More than 4,000 RefWorks accounts have been created at UC, and approximately 80 new accounts are created every month.
Beginning this fall, University of Cincinnati RefWorks users have access to RefShare, a collaborative research module that provides RefWorks users with the ability to share their RefWorks personal database (or any part of it) with anyone in the world who has Internet access. RefShare links may be distributed in a variety of ways, e.g. in an email message, via Blackboard or on a Web page, to reach either a selective or a general audience. The recipient(s) of a RefShare link can, depending on the permissions granted, view, print or export references from the RefWorks user’s personal database. Additionally, because the RefShare link points to a folder in a dynamic RefWorks database, the references can change, i.e., be added, deleted or revised, as the database evolves.
Set up a RefWorks account to explore the possibilities for increasing your productivity and reducing some of the stress in your academic life. For more information about RefWorks, see the contact information or web sites listed below.
