UC LIBRARIES ARE NOW 100% WIRELESS
Laptop and wireless device users now enjoy 100% wireless coverage throughout all 11 of the University of Cincinnati Libraries thanks to a grant from the university’s Infrastructure Committee. The grant allowed the Libraries to expand wireless access from the previous 65% coverage by adding new access points, thus eliminating zones with spotty or no wireless coverage. 100% wireless access provides much needed connectivity for library users to the vast array of library resources, including online articles and databases, the Library Catalog, and OhioLINK, wherever they are within the Libraries – in the stacks, in a group study room, or in central public areas.
