NEED TO CITE ELECTRONIC SOURCES?
The APA Style Guide to Electronic References
http://proxy.libraries.uc.edu/login?url=http://drc.libraries.uc.edu/handle/2374.UC/3
The University of Cincinnati Libraries now provide access to the APA Style Guide to Electronic References. Expanded and updated from the Electronic Resources section of the Fifth Edition of the Publication Manual, this comprehensive guide offers up-to-date information on formatting electronic references in APA style. The APA Style Guide to Electronic References outlines for students, researchers, and writers the key elements to include in references to electronic sources, with numerous examples.
A link to this resource has been added to the UC Libraries A-Z List of Databases (http://www.libraries.uc.edu/research/articles/ar_all.php) and it is cataloged and linked in the Library Catalog (http://uclid.uc.edu/search/t?SEARCH=APA+Style+guide+to+Electronic+References&searchscope=39).

Since 1932, Annual Reviews has offered comprehensive, timely collections of critical reviews written by leading scientists. Annual Reviews volumes are published each year for over 30 focused disciplines within the Biomedical, Physical, and Social Sciences dating back to the very first volume of the Annual Review of Biochemistry ® in 1932. Annual Reviews provides immediate access to 1100+ volumes, comprising over 20,000 critical and authoritative review articles. Color and grayscale figures, charts, tables, and cited literature are available via full-text searchable PDFs. Previously, the UC Libraries subscription dated back to 1996, but a recent purchase of the online backfiles now provides access to the full run of Annual Reviews.

STUDY AND RESEARCH GUIDES AVAILABLE THROUGH EBSCO
EBSCO’s Research Starters are study and research guides designed specifically for advanced high school students, college students, and selected graduate students. They consist of comprehensive, yet concise topic summary articles of about 3,000 words in length written by researchers, scholars, and other subject matter experts. Topics are aligned with course offerings at major colleges and universities in the subject areas covered. These articles are designed to be starting points for students, providing them with topic overviews, definitions of relevant terms and concepts, detailed bibliographies, and importantly, links to top articles from the relevant EP database(s). Research Starters supplements textbooks and other materials with current and focused topic overviews, assisting students in successfully undertaking assignments and research.
Because the UC Libraries already subscribe to a number of business and academic EBSCO databases, we have been given free access for the rest of the academic year to two Research Starters:

ELECTRONIC RESERVES NOW AVAILABLE THROUGH BLACKBOARD
The UC Libraries, including Raymond Walters College Library, are now providing library electronic course reserves through Blackboard. To add electronic reserves to Blackboard, visit www.libraries.uc.edu/services/reserves/eres_guidelines.html for submission guidelines, or contact the library staff member listed online (http://www.libraries.uc.edu/services/reserves/E-ReservesContacts.html) who handles reserves at your library location.
For general questions, contact Arlene Johnson at 556-1417. Electronic Reserves on Blackboard is a collaborative effort of the University of Cincinnati Libraries and UCit._______________________________________________________________
