The SPIE Digital Library is the most extensive resource available on optics and photonics, providing unprecedented access to more than 200,000 technical papers from the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE) Journals and Conference Proceedings from 1990 to the present. More than 17,000 new technical papers are added annually. All sources are searchable and there are several browse options for proceedings (by year, symposium, volume number, volume title, or technology). Publications included in the SPIE Digital Library include: The Proceedings of SPIE, Optical Engineering, Journal of Electronic Imaging, Journal of Biomedical Optics, and Journal of Microlithography, Microfabrication, and Microsystems.

With the addition of 250+ new digital videos, OhioLINK's Digital Video Collection now offers 1,529 educational videos to show in class, link to from course pages, use for research, or view for fun. The new videos cover a wide variety of subjects, including: art and photography, business and economics, communication, foreign language, literature and language arts, psychology and mental health, religion and philosophy, social studies, and more.

UC Libraries provide online access to The Chronicle of Higher Education to University of Cincinnati faculty, staff, and students. To access The Chronicle online, simply visit www.chronicle.com from any UC on-campus connection or through UC remote access. Online access is also available via a link from the catalog record for The Chronicle of Higher Education in the Library Catalog. Online access includes the full text of the current issue, statistical data about everything from faculty salareis to campus crime, a chronological listing of articles by date from 1995, a searchable archive of issues back to 1989, and more.
