Elsevier E-Journal Backfiles
University Libraries and the Medical Center Libraries have collaborated to purchase Elsevier backfiles of electronic journals from 1994 back to the year each journal began. This arrangement provides UC users with online access to the full publishing runs of hundreds of journals from 20 subject collections, including computer science, engineering technology, organic chemistry, psychology, and more. Each subject collection contains numerous journals, for example: business, management, and accounting, 68 titles; chemical engineering, 38; medicine and dentistry, 288; and social sciences, 142. Access to the backfiles will display seamlessly to the user when searching for Elsevier journal titles covered by this purchase (search titles via www.libraries.uc.edu/research/articles/text/index.html. Access to recent content (1995 to the present) is available through OhioLINK’s (www.ohiolink.edu) Electronic Journal Center.
