1. Navigate to the site sslvpn.uc.edu, and login using CLS credentials. (Verify that user has VPN privileges on his or her account.)

2. Click start in lower right hand of menu.

3. An Internet Security dialogue box will prompt and you want to accept the ALLOW option but it will be greyed out at first but will then be a clickable link momentarily .

4. This loading screen will display approximately 3 times, each time giving a UAC option
where you will need to accept each time.

5. The Network Connect Icon will show disconnected at first.

6. After a few seconds it should then display as connected.

**If they already have the application it can be found C:\Program Files\Juniper Networks\Network Connect 7.1.8 or can simply search for it under Network Connect.

This application then brings up a portal where the user can login, just verify the Sign-in page is https://sslvpn.uc.edu.

If the user can successfully login it will remove this portal and then show the connected Network Connect Icon in the Notifications Area.
