Search one of the world's largest collections of historical and contemporary imagery. The AP Images collection is updated every minute of the day and includes entertainment, fashion, news and sports coverage from The Associated Press and a diverse selection of content partners.
Credo Reference Images
Click on the "Image Search" tab and search for images on almost any topic. Credo Reference provides ready-reference content that covers every major subject from the world's best publishers of reference materials. The content is enriched with images, sound files, maps and customizable data tables.
Images in Biomedical Literature (Free)
The Images database
includes more than 2.5 million images and figures from medical and life sciences journals. The initial content of Images reflects images and figures contained in NCBI's PubMed Central full-text digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature. The database was developed and will be maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), a division of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) at the National Institutes of Health.

MedPix™ is a free online Medical Image Database, provided by
the Departments of Radiology and Biomedical Informatics, Uniformed Services
University, Bethesda, MD. All public content is peer-reviewed by an Editorial
Panel.

Reproductive Physiology Animations - Reproductive Physiology Animations is a collection of learning modules on human reproduction from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The modules have animation, and some have sound. To view the modules in the sequence used at UC COM, use Browse by Title, which is in order by module number.
Open-i (Free)
Open-i retrieves images from full text collections such as PubMed Central. It searches citation information as well as the outcome statements in the article and the most relevant figure from it. Further, it is possible to use the figure as a query component to find other relevant images or other visually similar images.
Public Health Images Library
(PHIL) (Free)
Created by a Working Group at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC), PHILTM offers an organized, universal electronic gateway to
CDC's pictures. Public health professionals, the media, laboratory
scientists, educators, and the worldwide public are welcome to use this material
for reference, teaching, presentation, and public health messages. The content
is organized into hierarchical categories of people, places, and science, and is
presented as single images, image sets, and multimedia files.
SpringerImages (Some Free and Open Access)
UC does not subscribe to SpringerImages but anyone can create an account and search the free and Open Access images indexed by SpringerImages. Images with a padlock on them are available only with a subscription. This a growing collection of scientific images that spans the scientific, technical and medical fields, including high-quality clinical images from images.MD. Images obtained from SpringerImages can be used for almost all noncommercial purposes, including integration into presentations and PDF documents.
